D. \u00c1ngel Aguilera Poza, founder of Grupo Aguilera, began by installing security systems in homes and small businesses, which later expanded to factories and warehouses, incorporating CCTV surveillance and other control systems.

In 1978, Aguilera Electr\u00f3nica was founded, taking advantage of the first regulation requiring hotels to protect at least common areas with fire detection systems. During this period, the company was contracted to install systems in more than 25 hotels, including Meli\u00e1 Castilla (Madrid), Meli\u00e1 Costa del Sol, Meli\u00e1 Don Pepe, Don Miguel (Marbella), Reconquista (Oviedo), among others.
The first control panel, the AE\/H1000C, was manufactured, capable of identifying up to 1,000 points and coordinating evacuation in a phased, automatic and manual manner. Subsequently, the first ionisation detectors and addressable manual call points manufactured in Spain were developed.
Aguilera Electr\u00f3nica\u2019s consolidation as a strong company came during Seville EXPO \u201992, where it was selected to supply and control fire detection systems, competing against multinational companies operating in Spain. <\/p>\n
